What We’re Looking For: Iridium is seeking a Senior Master Scheduler to support a complex multi-phased U.S Government contract. As a Senior Master Scheduler, you will be expected to be an expert in all aspects of schedule creation, maintenance, management, and analysis in order to  provide valuable and critical insights to the Program Manager. As a Senior Master Scheduler, you will be required to support multiple interrelated efforts that feed into one common operational goal. You will also be required to work   independently and within a cross-functional team consisting of both dedicated and matrixed resources.  If you are an expert in the field of scheulding and have 5 recent years of experience working in the defense industry with a minumum of 10 years direct scheduling experience, then you will be excited about the Senior Master Scheduler opening with Iridium on our Space Development Agency (SDA) program. You will thrive in this role if you are detail oriented, have the ability to see the big picture, conduct true schedule analysis, and possess Earned Value Management expertise.   This position requires an active/current Top Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain a Top Secret Security Clearance (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active).   What You’ll Do: - Develop the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), Integrated Master Plan (IMP), and the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) - Lead cross functional team members in the definition of project tasks, establish task durations, define relationships, impose constraints, collect weekly status, and resource load the schedule - Perform DCMA 14-point assessment, critical path analysis, and Monte Carlo schedule risk assessment - Design and implement WBS coding structures and IMP/ IMS coding structure - Define methodology and approach for implementing giver/receivers - Conduct data-driven analysis on cost & schedule variances and support Program Managers & Control Account Managers with variance explanations - Provide insights into how changes in the schedule may affect resource requirements and budget allocations - Forecast future schedule trends based on historical data and current performance - Develop tier-one schedule (one pager), tier-two schedules, and master schedule from a single database using Microsoft Project - Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigation - Assess the impact of changes or modifications to the program scope on the schedule - Provide recommendations on how changes may affect timelines and what adjustments are needed - Play a key role in early identification of potential issues or trends that may impact the program's success - Develop process, procedures, and strategy for implementing scheduling best practices - Provide on-the-job training and mentorship to junior team members

As a Bill of Materials Coordinator, you will play a critical role in the product development and manufacturing process by autonomously creating, maintaining, and optimizing accurate and comprehensive bill of materials for various parts/products. You will thrive in this role if you are detail oriented, excel at collaborating with cross-functional teams and material tracking to provide program visibility to ensure program needs are met within a dynamic growing environment.   Possess an active/current Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)   What You’ll Do: - Create, modify, and maintain accurate and consistent multi-level Bills of Material (BOM) and Item Master records to support order management, development builds, material requirements, and cost reporting - Be responsible for establishing and maintaining configuration management of BOMs - Manage lead times and material availability by identifying the material need dates, order by dates, receipt dates, and material decision points to be included in project schedules; including forecasting and reservation based on development schedule - Ensure engineering changes, procurement or supplier changes, price increases, and general updates are accurately captured and maintained in BOMs - Develop a thorough understanding of the cost and schedule impacts resulting from changes in the BOMs, and communicate associated impacts and variances with appropriate stakeholders - Actively engage in cross functional communication to ensure accuracy and timely creation and maintenance of BOMs and product information - Work independently to generate reports and documentation for internal and external use as needed - Ensure month-end and year-end closing and reporting process for Materials Management data/system are properly performed within scheduled timeframes - Assure ongoing compliance of material management system with all applicable and current Internal Audit, Compliance, Finance and Materials Management, policies and procedures - Be responsible for the development of appropriate data quality controls and generate appropriate reports for use in the monitoring system integrity - Participate in cross-functional improvement initiatives to enhance processes related to BOM management and product development
