The Senior Systems Administrator will partner with our Network Infrastructure team on the management and monitoring of Space Development Agency (SDA) network infrastructure. Responsibilities include managing a Redhat Openstack platform, along with Dell Compute Systems, Netapp Storage, as well as Amazon Web Services (AWS) hosted systems. In this role, you will provide support to the overall SDA and remote Teleport Systems by configuring and maintaining Local and remote infrastructure equipment and devices. In addition, you’ll participate in, and at times lead, the implementation of solutions that follow Government best practice guiding principles.
This position requires an active/current Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)
Possess at least ONE of the following certifications: CompTIA Security+, CASP+ CE (CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner), CCNP Security (Cisco Certified Network Professional), CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor), CISSP (or Associate) (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), GCED (GIAC Certified Enterprise Defender), GCIH (GIAC Certified Incident Handler) or CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional) certificate
This position primarily works in an office setting and is largely sedentary with the majority of the position working with a computer. The role typically requires the use of basic office equipment such as a phone, video, computer, keyboard, mouse, and printer.

Under Iridium’s Hybrid Work Policy, employees are expected to work at least three days per week (approximately 60%) in an Iridium office to support collaboration, relationship-building, and professional growth.
