What We’re Looking For:

Are you a rising and motivated Business Systems Support Analyst? If so, we have an exciting role on our Enterprise Applications Team for you! In our Business Systems Support Analyst roe, you will provide technical support and troubleshooting for our business systems and applications. In this role, you will focus on ensuring the smooth operation and functionality of business-critical systems, assisting with system configuration, conducting testing, resolving user issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of business systems, strong analytical skills, and the ability to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide Tier 1 technical support for Iridium’s business applications, resolving system-related issues promptly to ensure minimal disruption
  • Work on service requests, including creating and updating all tickets in ticketing software, conducting follow up calls, performing tests and troubleshooting, and escalating more complex issues as needed
  • Assist with the administration, configuration, and maintenance of company software
  • Work closely with business users, IT teams, and vendors to ensure business systems are optimized, tailored to business needs, and continuously improved upon
  • Support your team, management, and end-users to drive business performance through process automation
  • Assist in creating and maintaining integrations between systems and executing on new reporting requests
  • Play a role in change management processes and controls, adhering to SOX compliance requirements

 

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience with software applications and systems or related field OR equivalent relevant experience in lieu of degree
  • A strong commitment to providing excellent user support and ensuring user satisfaction
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to confidently present products/deliverables/analysis/issues to various groups in the organization
  • Possess an analytical mindset, with the ability to understand a situation or problem and think critically to make decisions or come up with solutions
  • Be comfortable managing upward, including being a proactive communicator and asking for help when needed
  • Have confidence and be able to establish valuable relationships with others
  • Must be able to prioritize key tasks and have a strong sense of ownership over your work
  • Be active in seeking out ways to continuously improve yourself and gain new knowledge
  • Demonstrated proficiencies with Microsoft Office products 

Things That Would be Great if You Brought to the Table:

  • Experience with business applications (e.g., ERP, HR, and PPM systems)
  • General understanding of HR, Accounting, and PPM functions
  • Hands on experience with business system integrations, APIs, and data management tools
  • Experience with SQL, databases, and reporting tools, such as PowerBI
  • Ability to perform SQL querying to extract data and understand output for data analysis

We’ll also need you to:

  • Willingness to work after hours as needed, up to 15% of the time, for critical support and scheduled system changes
  • Work a hybrid schedule that includes 3 days in office and 2 days from home
  • Be a US Citizen

Work environment:

This position primarily works in an office setting and is largely sedentary with the majority of the position working with a computer. The role typically requires the use of basic office equipment such as a phone, video, computer, keyboard, mouse, and printer.
