What We’re Looking For: 

Iridium is seeking a talented and motivated Senior Partner Integration Manager to join our Non-Terrestrial Networking (NTN) & Cellular team. As a partner integration manager, you will drive the end-to-end technical execution and integration strategy for our MNO, MVNO, and OEM partners, accelerating the adoption of our NTN and cellular-based solutions. You will play a critical role in shaping the technical onboarding experience, leading customers from initial technical introductions and integration through to the successful launch of solutions and partnerships that drive growth in NTN. You will act as a trusted technical advisor to executive and engineering stakeholders, ensuring our partners fully understand the value, capabilities, and deployment models of our solutions, and can operationalize them effectively and at scale.

What You’ll Do: 

  • Lead the technical onboarding of new partners and work with the sales channel to respond to technical questions from both existing and prospective customers
  • Design, refine, and deliver advanced training programs to prospective NTN partners including troubleshooting-related issues
  • Provide expert-level analysis and resolution of complex partner designs and systems, including software/hardware integration and interactions between them
  • Translate partner feedback into actionable insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders within Iridium in order to improve product offerings
  • Improve and develop test tools to remove technical barriers to customer adoption and demonstrate, through example code, how partners can automate tests
  • Investigate, document, and coordinate complex product issues with other departments to ensure problems are addressed quickly and partner impact is minimized
  • Act as an escalation point for the Customer Support team in diagnosing and ultimately resolving client issues
  • Review partner solutions as part of the Iridium certification program and provide guidance to junior engineers, prioritize tests, interpret results, and provide feedback to partners
  • Prepare, update, and maintain high quality technical documentation such as application notes
  • Mentor and develop engineers by ensuring Iridium best practices are being communicated and followed
  • Champion the needs of new customers into Iridium's product and support organizations ensuring their requirements are reflected in strategic planning and long-term platform capabilities.

What You’ll Need to Succeed: 

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10+ years of relevant engineering experience, preferably including LTE, SMS, NBIOT
  • Depth of knowledge of networking protocols and components such as HTTP, DNS, NIDD, PDN, TCP/IP, and ICMP
  • Depth of knowledge of with network latencies, RF, and Timing configurations
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey products, deliverables, analyses, and/or issues to groups outside of your team or those who are unfamiliar with the topic
  • Have confidence and be able to easily build relationships with leadership and colleagues outside of your team
  • Possess an analytical mindset, with the ability to understand a situation or problem and think critically to make decisions and come up with out-of-the-box solutions
  • Be proactive in providing feedback and be enthusiastic in sharing your knowledge with others
  • Capable of prioritizing your own tasks and potentially the tasks of others while making sure deadlines are met

Things That Would be Great if You Brought to the Table: 

  • Fluency in language other than American English

We’ll also need you to: 

  • Be able to travel up to 5 weeks annually
  • To comply with U.S. Government export control regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), applicants for this position must be U.S. citizens, U.S. lawful permanent residents, or protected individuals as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).

Work Environment:

This position primarily works in an office setting and is largely sedentary with the majority of the position working with a computer. The role typically requires the use of basic office equipment such as a phone, video, computer, keyboard, mouse, and printer.
