What We’re Looking For: 

Iridium is looking for a strategic and results-driven Senior Account Manager to accelerate global awareness, adoption, and revenue growth for our emerging Non-Terrestrial Networking (NTN) & Cellular products and services. This high-impact role, requires deep experience in partner management, cross-functional collaboration, and ecosystem development, with accountability for revenue growth, partner success, and strategic alignment with company objectives. Your ability to navigate complex ecosystems and influence stakeholders will be critical to establishing Iridium as a leader in next-generation connectivity solutions.

What You’ll Do: 

  • Serve as the senior account manager for assigned MNO partners, ensuring alignment with Iridium’s strategic priorities and revenue goals.
  • Establish and maintain trusted advisor relationships with senior executives and decision-makers across partner organizations.
  • Lead contract negotiations, renewals, and amendments, ensuring favorable terms and long-term sustainability of partnerships.
  • Identify and drive new commercial opportunities within existing accounts and ecosystem partners, with accountability for revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with product, technical, and standards teams to ensure partner needs are reflected in product roadmaps, 3GPP standardization efforts, and go-to-market initiatives.
  • Lead strategic engagement with hardware ecosystem partners (device, module, chipset manufacturers), ensuring readiness and interoperability across NTN solutions.
  • Provide actionable insights on market trends, partner strategies, and customer needs to inform business strategy and influence product development.
  • Oversee escalation management and ensure operational excellence by coordinating internal resources to resolve partner challenges quickly and effectively.
  • Monitor and analyze partner performance against contractual commitments, KPIs, and service expectations, driving corrective actions where necessary.
  • Represent Iridium at industry events, conferences, and technical workshops, positioning the company as a leader in the NTN segment.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship, sharing best practices and supporting team development.

What You’ll Need to Succeed: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 10 years experience in account management, partner management, or business development, preferably within the telecommunications, satellite, or wireless industry.
  • Demonstrable track record in selling technology-based products and services or solutions
  • Demonstrate successful examples of sales to end users, and the ability to identify, research, prospect and deliver new sales
  • Must be familiar with a fast moving, professional, results oriented atmosphere, and demonstrate a well-organized approach to the services
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey products, deliverables, analyses, and/or issues clearly and confidently, and confidently recognize and adapt to different communication techniques
  • Be a strategic thinker who demonstrates good judgment and decisiveness
  • Experience working with US and International management teams

Things That Would be Great if You Brought to the Table: 

  • Knowledge of mobile satellite services is highly desirable
  • Proficiency in foreign languages

We’ll also need you to: 

  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
  • To comply with U.S. Government export control regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), applicants for this position must be U.S. citizens, U.S. lawful permanent residents, or protected individuals as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).

Work Environment:

This position primarily works in an office setting and is largely sedentary with the majority of the position working with a computer. The role typically requires the use of basic office equipment such as a phone, video, computer, keyboard, mouse, and printer.
