What We’re Looking For:
If you are experienced in pre-sales technical support and business development within the sales industry and have several years of experience, then you will be excited about the Sales Engineer opening with Iridium on our US Government Business Development team. As a Sales Engineer, you’ll be responsible for managing multiple activities and projects, including those with cross-functional teams, to drive new sales and business development. In this role, you will focus primarily on providing pre-sales technical support for the development and implementation of complex partner products, applications, and solutions, as well as account prospecting, qualification, demonstrations, and lead follow-up to achieve or exceed sales objectives/product mix objectives. You will succeed in this role if you are proactive, have strong technical acumen, excellent communication skills, and a passion for driving sales and business growth.
This position requires an active/current Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active).

This position primarily works in the company office or in a home office. The position is largely sedentary with the majority of the position sitting in a chair and working with a computer. The role uses basic office equipment including a phone, video, computer, keyboard, mouse, and printer.
