The Product Engineering team is seeking an Engineering intern for the summer of 2020. The team seeks an outstanding engineering student to assist the product engineering team engineers in their daily activities of developing, manufacturing, testing and documenting the Iridium product line of satellite modems. The intern will work closely with the engineering team, become familiar with the Iridium product line and participate in the dynamic engineering environment required to develop and manufacture high quality and reliable satellite handsets and modems as well as assure their designs are well documented and their performance is consistent with the high quality that Iridium customers have come to expect.
Iridium Satellite produces and supports multiple satellite modem products that provide essential and valuable data and voice communication services to users worldwide using our constellation of 66 LEO spacecraft and supporting ground infrastructure.
