The Business Systems Development team is seeking a Java Junit Developer intern for the summer of 2020. As a Java Junit Developer Intern, you will assist in improving overall code quality of the Iridium Customer facing web services API. The intern will learn and participate actively in developing Junit test logic to increase the percentage of code covered by automatic testing. In addition the intern will learn about code quality and best practices by implementing improvement recommendations from SoarQube code analysis.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Analyze code coverage of unit tests
Identifying positive and negative test conditions (under supervision from tech lead and managers)
Progressively improve code coverage by writing Junit test cases
Assist in updating Maven builds to include test harness execution
Assist in updating and maintaining SonarQube configuration to include unit tests
Regular and reliable attendance.
Responsible for complying with proper internal controls as necessary to conduct job functions and/or carry out responsibilities and/or administrative activities at Company.
Performing special projects and other duties as may be assigned.
